The best frames have are made of heavy gauge steel. I do not promote rebounders that are spray painted. The latest generation rebounders have electrostatic applied paint where there is not chipping or flaking. Their are also still some folding rebounders out there that are dangerous when you try to open or fold them. It takes a person standing on one half and another person folding the other half. I personally got hurt one trying trying to fold a rebounder during one of my reviews. The manufacturer made me take down that video or they wouldn’t let me stay a dealer. That didn’t need to happen. I stopped carrying their inferior rebounder. This was way back in the day when I was just learning about rebounders. The easiest to fold rebounder is the Cellerciser. Even my grandmother can open and close it by herself. I avoid screw in legs as they can get jammed or rust over time and then you have to replace the entire rebounder. This is why most of the bungee companies now have folding legs. Some of the best rebounders have legs that are welded into the frame that don’t fold or screw in. The heavier the rebounder, the more the frame absorbs the noise. Also, the configuration of the spring holes in the frame make a big difference in noise. The type that do not directly hook into the frame are the quietest on multi purpose rebounders. Also, if using the rebounder mainly for the Health Bounce, the frames that are lowest to the ground that have the lowest center of gravity are the best for this purpose.
