I can’t believe I am going to say this but this is the first rebounder I had way back in the day. Rebounders have came a long way since then. This is probably the most jarring rebounder I have used. It looks nice but that is about it (my personal opinion only). It can be good for jogging where the person is never jumping. I would never jump high on this as it can hurt on my landing. I always used this for jogging back in the day. This was before I ever knew what lymphatic rebounding was or the Health Bounce. Definitely a NO for the health bounce and I mean that.
This rebounder bottoms out very quickly and it might be desirable as it is close to the sporting good store prices but for heavy people, I urge heavy people always to try this out before buying it. I can feel my brain knocking around in my head when I jump. The mat surface is very small so keep an eye on the mat edge for sure. The best thing about the Urban is that it does not pronate my ankles. The very small mats are always good for that but the ballistic impact makes up for this.
So if you never actually plan on jumping but running in place, this can be a good choice. It does not have a naugahyde mat that does not off gas. It does have rubber feet, not polymer feet and it does not have the polyester threading that does not off gas. I can tell people that for doing the Health Bounce this is not the one to get. You don’t even need to take my Rebounder Quiz for this one, I would never recommend it. You can get a used one on craigslist for about 10 to 30 dollars if someone is selling one. There is almost always someone selling one.
