It is best known for their triple tiered springs and the fact that you don’t ever have to change springs. Each spring is zinc coated so they don’t rust. Each spring is made of US steal, not galvanized steal. Their springs cost about 4 times the price. The springs are digitally tempered where there are no air bubbles in the spring that make the springs lose its tensile strength.
The Callerciser gives the same bounce no matter what the person’s weight is under its weight limit. So, a 300 pound person gets the same bounce as a 100 pound person as the 300 pound person engages the entire 2nd and 3rd tier of the spring.
The silver alloy zinc coated spring makes the spring much quieter than the galvanized steel and grey carbon springs that aren’t coated with zinc. No body I talk to wants the squeaking noise every time they jump.
Most people get the balance bar with the Cellerciser. If you try to do a front kick or back kick most people will fall backwards without the bar. Also, if doing the health bounce, the bar helps to stay back on my heels.
As far as the bounce from the Cellerciser, lightweight people usually like the Trifold better and heavier people prefer the half fold. For those doing the health bounce, the bar helps make bouncing more uniform.
The Cellerciser is also known for no off gassing. The stitching is made of polyester, not nylon threading that many people are sensitive to its strong scent. You can leave the Cellerciser in the car all day and it will not smell as there are no petrochemicals to off gas.
As far as recommending the Cellerciser, I would recommend it for people that have foot inversion problems as this has the least coning in of all the multi purpose rebounders I’ve tested (Needak, Rebound Air). This is my top recommendation for those looking to do the Health Bounce and Cario/Toning as well. For those looking for a dedicated Health Bounce rebounder the Lymphaciser or the Health Circulator are my two rebounders dedicated to detox and the health bounce.
The Cellerciser can be kept outside without rusting and left in the hot sun without fading. Those living in humid places like Florida will appreciated this. The Cellerciser is about 10 pounds heavier than other rebounders as it has a heavier gauge steel frame that makes it a little harder to carry. I would recommend the Trifold for people that don’t want to carry the half fold. The heavier weight makes this the most sturdy multi purpose rebounder I have reviewed.
The polymer feet should not scuff up the carpet or tiles like the rubber feet. Polymer lasts much longer than rubber feet so every few years there is no need to replace the feet.

The Health Circulator is hand made in Pennsylvania by the Amish since the 1950s. Right now their 3rd generation model tops any single purpose rebounder including the Lympholine and Lymphaciser which used to be our best ones before I discovered the Health Circulator.
Each Health Circulator is hand welded and is a one piece design. It does not fold and the legs do not fold in. There is no wobble in the legs either. Their springs are tuned to Middle “C” on the musical scale. So, it won’t squeak like the typical spring rebounders. Each spring will resonate at the same frequency.
Middle C is the most balanced tone found in nature and this is the first company that has made their spring without the noise people complain about. They offer a lifetime warranty against any manufacturer’s defects. Most companies have a 2 to 5 year warranty. Their mat is made of Permatron, the same as the Cellerciser mat. This rebounder has the highest levitational force of any rebounder we’ve found with the lowest bounce.
NOTICE – The Health Circulator is a single purpose rebounder for lymphatic drainage. If looking for a multi purpose rebounder, this will not give you a workout like the deeper bounce multi purpose rebounders. The deeper the bounce, the less Health Bounce.
The gentle shifting of the body fluids by using a rebounder that has enough levitational force will not be a multi-purpose rebounder or one designed to lift one above the mat. My research has proven to me that avoiding being airborne (like a bungee rebounder) is my real key for detoxification
Levitation force opens up the lymph valves held in place by Gravity. This opening is a subtle energy and is not induced by high jumping. It’s the small changes that are repetitive that create the negative pressure and suction in the lymph system.

The springs weight about 92 grams (Cellerciser springs weigh about 106 grams each). Although the springs are much cheaper to replace, for those that don’t mind spending the time each year to change them to keep close to the initial tensile strength, many people may want to consider this before buying. It is a great multi purpose rebounder for those that don’t mind the maintenance and time involved.
As far as jarring, there is no jarring but it does throw me towards the center more than a triple tiered type like the Cellerciser.
As far as price, it is much cheaper than the Cellerciser which is our best rebounder in the multi purpose category. For those that want a soft bounce during the first 18 months you will get it with the Need rebounder. For those that have tried it after 18 months of everyday use, you can see in some of the videos how a too high of yield and a loss of tensile strength affects the softness of the bounce.
As far as noise, the weight of their springs are less than the Cellerciser so it can have a high pitch squeak noise than the Cellerciser. For those buying the Needak I strongly urge people to get their springs coated with Graphite, not oil. This should take all the squeakiness out.
As far as smell, it does not have a naughahyde cover like the Cellerciser. It has vinyl which some people don’t like the off gassing smell. For those that don’t want a foam backing under the cover may also take that into consideration if chemically sensitive. The paint is powder coated so it does not chip off like the earlier models. It also is lead free unlike some of the cheap ones that have lead in the paint.
I would change the feet on the legs that are rubber. This does have a smell unlike the polymer feet that have no off gassing. The Cellerciser feet are 4 dollars each and many people get them switched out since they fit the Needak rebounder. It weighs about 25 pounds and is lighter than the Cellerciser.
Overall, the Needak rebounder is my 2nd best rebounder I have reviewed. For those that cannot afford the Cellerciser, this is a great choice. Take my rebounder questionnaire to see if this rebounder is right for you.
Take the rebounder quiz to see if this is the right rebounder for you.

The Reboundair models that are made of steel are the ones that I promote over the plastic model of theirs. I urge everyone that uses the ReboundAir rebounder to use it with the spring cover. The springs can be a hazard if they are exposed. Also, the springs are much noisier
based on all my comparison tests between the Needak and Cellerciser which are the other 2 multi purpose rebounders that are much better based on the Health Bounce and bounce integrity.
But again, this is a much more affordable rebounder. The Reboundair has short barrel springs that gives it less bounce and for those that are going to jump high make sure you get an extra set of springs if you want to maintain close to the initial tensile strength of the springs as when the springs were new.
The 7 different tensile strength levels is probably the best thing about the Jumpsport. Also, for those sensitive to the rubber feet, their feet can be switched with polymer feet so people that are chemically sensitive don’t have to smell the rubber feet.
Even though the Jumpsport as synthetic bungee cords, they last much longer than the Bellicon cords. But, natural latex does not off gas and is more natural. Also, just like the Bellicon rebounders, I do not promote bungee rebounders for the Health Bounce. They have very little pop and mostly push and unless someone doubles up on the cords it can give a very firm bounce but still doesn’t have that pop like the spring type. The resistance is spread out over too much time to give the lymphatic system what it needs to create that negative pressure to pump the waste in the lymph system.
Please take my Rebounder Quiz to see if the Jumpsport rebounder is right for you.
]]>I urge people who buy this to get the cover for the cords to you don’t step through them and sweat on them which can make them noisy. There are different frame types. I like the heavier premium frame that is stainless steel over the standard one most people get that is cheaper. As far as the legs, I like the screw on legs over the folding legs. But, the folding legs are easier to store so you don’t have to take the legs off each time. The screw on legs make it feel more grounded to me. There are many bungee rebounders out there that have synthetic bungee cords. The Bellicon rebounder has natural latex.
As far as G force, for those that want to get rid of the deep decelerations to get a similar bounce to the health bounce, I add 2 bungee cords to each hook. That’s the little hack that I figured out. This makes the tensile strength exponentially stronger and the cords last longer so you don’t have to change them so often to keep up the tensile and yield strength. Many people tell me they have to change their cords every 6 to 9 months if they want to keep that same tensile strength similar to when it was new. It can get really expensive having to change cords all the time. The feet on the Bellicon are not polymer but the feet can be changed out with polymer feet for those that are sensitive to rubber smell and off gassing.
As far as the bounce quality, I like the 39 inch model if using only one spring per hook as there is less coning in but if using 2 cords per hook then the larger models should be fine. As far as the Health Bounce, NOOOO. This is a rebounder that if someone tries to jump just above the mat there will be very little G force. In order to do the health bounce there needs to be a pop, not a throw motion. So, the high jumping and deep decelerations are good for toning and cardio but for lymph drainage, I would not recommend it. I have rebounder strictly for the Health bounce like the Health Circulator (see my review page) and for those that don’t want a rebounder just for cardio and toning, I recommend a multi purpose rebounder like the Cellerciser which is our best multi purpose rebounder (see my Cellerciser review).
Those with knee and foot problems will not feel the jarring on a bungee but inversion can be an issue. The deep decelerations can turn some people’s ankles in and even though it is low impact, turning in really hard my ankles can hurt. This is why the right tensile strength with not too much deceleration should be kept in mind before choosing the right cords. But, hands down this is the best for cardio and toning, especially if using the elastic hand strap
If someone gets bungee cords that are too weak, it will be hard to get “free bounces” and if it is to firm it can make the workout too easy. Having just the right tensile strength can mean working out my legs or not. The strongest bands give the lowest amplitude but the yield strength can be too low for certain people.
]]>This rebounder bottoms out very quickly and it might be desirable as it is close to the sporting good store prices but for heavy people, I urge heavy people always to try this out before buying it. I can feel my brain knocking around in my head when I jump. The mat surface is very small so keep an eye on the mat edge for sure. The best thing about the Urban is that it does not pronate my ankles. The very small mats are always good for that but the ballistic impact makes up for this.
So if you never actually plan on jumping but running in place, this can be a good choice. It does not have a naugahyde mat that does not off gas. It does have rubber feet, not polymer feet and it does not have the polyester threading that does not off gas. I can tell people that for doing the Health Bounce this is not the one to get. You don’t even need to take my Rebounder Quiz for this one, I would never recommend it. You can get a used one on craigslist for about 10 to 30 dollars if someone is selling one. There is almost always someone selling one.
